The class will be conducted in the established 3-day format.
The class is open to up to 6 sailors, who completed the White Sail training this season or have equivalent skills in sailing Albacores or similar boats.
In order to to successfully complete the course and gain the right to use the club's boats, all participants must attend all three sessions.
Session 1 - Thursday, September 1, from 6 pm to 9 pm. Rigging and derigging (on land).
Session 2 - Saturday, September 3, from 11 am to 3 pm. Launching, getting on and off the boat, un-docking, sailing techniques, capsize recovery, approaching the dock.
Session 3 - Sunday, September 4 from 10 am to 3 pm. Intro to racing, integrated in the Sunday Sinners race. Emphasis on group sailing and developing advanced upwind and downwind techniques.
