COURSE Cancellation and refund policies

i) How to submit a refund request

All requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to the club at membership@sailtoronto.com for approval. 

Approved refunds will be processed as soon as reasonably possible, given volunteer-treasurer availability.

ii) Course/Clinic Fee Refund Policy


 Request Date Percentage Refundable 
at least two (2) weeks prior to the commencement of the course  100%
between one (1) to two (2) weeks prior to the commencement of the course  75%
between two (2) and seven (7) days prior to the commencement of the course  50%
less than two days prior to the commencement of the course  0%


iii) Membership Fee Refund Policy

CanSail 1&2 - Membership Fee

Evening prior to commencement of the 4th class (including orientation) 75%
Full Day prior to commencement of the 3rd class (including orientation)

Any prior to the final class 50%
Any on or after the date of the final class  0% =  no refund


CanSail 3 or CanSail 4 - Membership Fee

up to and including April 30 75%
between May 1 and July 1 50%
on or after July 2  0% =  no refund
