Foiling day Wednesday morning

Each half day will consist of 2 parts: 

1.Land lesson

  • Equipment overview
  • Wing handling practice on shore
  • Introduction to the foil board
  • Safety briefing on tow foiling


2.On-water session

  • Wing flying on the water
  • Tow foiling

 *Helmets are mandatory for all participants and will be provided by Ontario Sailing.

  • The general rule is that you must be 12 or older, to ensure that they are big enough and strong enough to be able to hold the wing up and hold on to the tow line for the tow foiling.
  • There a no boats it's just the boards, and the wings. They will rotate one at a time for the tow foiling.
  • They should make sure to have closed toed shoes and have water, food, and warm gear to put on for sitting in the coach boat while we rotate people.

Once you have registered here, please also register with Ontario Sailing. Be mindful that while both registrations are necessary, it is the JTown registration that reserves your spot.
