Friday Night Albacore Race Series

This is a multi-club community-driven scored, race series. Prizes are awarded weekly and at the end of season.

• May 8, 2026
• July 3, 2026
• August 21, 2026
• September 4, 2026

• Sailors wishing to participate in FNR are strongly encouraged to register by Wednesday at 7pm so they can be randomly paired with a helm of crew. Matches will be announced on Thursdays. If you miss the registration deadline you can still show up on Friday before the cutoff time (5:45 or 6pm depending on time of year) and sail if there is a crew/helm you can be matched with.
• All J-town members who have completed Cansail 1/2 or Albacore Old Salt L1 are eligible to crew on Friday nights. Prior and continued participation in Monday Night Race Training is strongly encouraged.
• New helms (i.e. sailors who have not helmed on Fridays in the past) should consult with the Race Chair prior to signing up to helm an FNR.
• Prior to Sailing in a 2026 FNR all sailors will be required to sign an FNR code of conduct.
